Jolie Rules Out Marriage to Pitt

HOLLYWOOD - Angelina Jolie has ruled out plans to marry partner Brad Pitt, insisting their children are what 'binds them together.'

Jolie, 31, already has two failed marriages behind her: She wed Jonny Lee Miller in 1996 and divorced in 1999, while her union to Billy Bob Thornton ended in a 2003 divorce.

Pitt separated from his wife of five years, Friends actress Jennifer Aniston, in January 2005--shortly before he began a relationship with his Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar--and their divorce was finalized in October that year.

The superstar couple has three adopted children together--Maddox, 5, Pax Thien, 3, and Zahara, 2--as well as their biological daughter Shiloh, 11 months, and feel the bond they share as a family is enough for happiness.

She tells Reader's Digest magazine, "We've both been married before. Our focus when we got together was family, and we are legally bound to our children. That really seems to be the most important thing."

Schwarzenegger 'Too Busy' to Bother with Paris

HOLLYWOOD - California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has refused to be drawn into Paris Hilton's jail appeal, insisting he has more pressing matters to deal with.

The desperate socialite, who was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail earlier this month after violating terms of her 2006 drunk-driving arrest, has teamed up with a pal to pioneer an online petition begging the politician for a pardon.

The appeal, which is addressed to Schwarzenegger, claims, "The American public who support Paris are shocked, dismayed and appalled by how Paris has been the person to be used as an example that drunk driving is wrong."

Earlier this week Schwarzenegger's press secretary insisted it was premature to comment on the case, but his boss hinted yesterday her campaign was likely to end in disappointment.

Schwarzenegger said, "I've never got any request. But I have many more important things to think about."
